Seikou Glass exhibition “in winter”

We will hold an exhibition of Seikou Glass of Daisen City, Akita Pref.
This exhibition contains many classic works of them, and will also introduce some new glassworks.
Hope you will enjoy looking at their works in the gentle light of winter.

1994 Learned glass blowing at Notojima Glass Studio
1995 Worked at the hands-on workshop “Mori no Kuni”
1997 Worked at the “Seikou Saryo” glass studio
1999 Became independent glass studio “Seikou Glass”
2003 Moved the atelier to Daisen City, Akita Pref where his partner Aki’s birthplace
2008 Selected for the exhibition of Nihon Mingeikan for the first time
2010 Awarded Nihon Mingeikan Encouragement prise
2013 Selected Kokuga Kai Exhibition, Craft Category for the first time
2015 Awarded Kokuga Kai Exhibition Craft Division Encouragement prize
