2025.10.21  by fumi

Exhibition : Gunji Pottery Studio
Saturday October 25 – Monday November 3
※The potter in attendance: Sunday 26
Weekday opening hours extended until 7pm throughout the exhibition period.

This October marks the first exhibition in five years by
Mr and Ms Gunji – Tsunehisa and Keiko – of Gunji Pottery Studio.
Earlier this summer, we visited Mr and Mrs Gunji’s studio after a long interval,
discussing their current life and creative work.
Their last exhibition was in February 2020.

Much time has passed since then,
yet amidst constant change, certain things remain unchanged.
This exhibition features works fired in a wood-fired kiln.
We hope to offer a thoughtful introduction to how the couple currently engage with their creative practice.

On 26th October, Tsunehisa will be at the exhibition all day.
SMITH @smithhirosaki will also have a stall.
We will have baked goods and drinks available for takeaway.
Please feel free to visit us while selecting Gunji’s work.

*Online showcase will be start after the period.
