Sachiko Kosuge started making brooches in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture.
Her works, in which the world of animals, plants and fantasy unfolds in the palm of her hand, are loved by many for their unique view of the world. Currently, her works range from ceramic boards to hand-twisted tableware and vases.
In considering the theme for this exhibition of her work, we required her to create a new work that would shed light on her own works, which expands from small worlds to space-conscious pieces.
As a new work, a lampshade with a café au lait bowl motif will be exhibited for Kosuge.
We also introduce brooches, plate and vases and so on.
This exhibition will feature a special display by tayu-tau in Tsu, Mie Prefecture, which is a close friend of Kosuge.
Kosuge’s close ally ‘tayu-tau’ from Tsu, Mie Prefecture, will open a shop on the first day of the exhibition.
The end of summer and the beginning of autumn.
We want to make this an enjoyable event.
